International Fair of Armaments and Defense Equipment
„Partner 2009”
June 2-5, 2009
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia and in co-organization
with Yugoimport FDSP, the Belgrade Fair is in charge of organizing the 4th International
Fair of Armaments and Defense Equipment „PARTNER 2009”, which will be held at the
Belgrade Fair in the period of June 2-5, 2009.
The Fair will be opened on June 2, at 11:00 a.m. in Hall 3 of the Belgrade Fair.
The Defense Fair will be held under the conditions of the defined need for restructuring
of the defense industry of Serbia, implementation of the medium-term program of development/equipment
acquisition within the framework of the Strategic Defense Review, and of the commitment
to market principles, which gives it a special role. That is why „PARTNER” will be
the place where future relations in production and trade in weapons and defense equipment
between Serbia, the countries in the region, and other markets will be routed, and
new aspects of cooperation will be defined. The participants at the Fair are the
business people and experts who want to ensure active roles for themselves and their
companies in establishing of new relationships and new positions.
The program of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia and its scientific,
technical, and overhaul capabilities, achievements in the production of the domestic
and foreign defense industries and auxiliary equipment products will be presented
at ”PARTNER 2009”, through exhibition, demonstrations, and promotions.
The exhibition program of ”Partner 2009” includes: small arms, fire support weapon
systems (mortars, grenade launchers, towed and self-propelled conventional guns and
rocket artillery), medium-caliber guns, anti-tank and direct infantry fire-support
systems, combat and non-combat vehicles (tanks and other combat vehicles, reconnaissance
vehicles, patrol vehicles, transport and logistic vehicles), air-defense systems
(both artillery and rocket systems), guided missile systems, vehicle-mounted equipment
and weapon systems, ammunition (small-arms ammunition, hand grenades, non-lethal
ammunition, signal ammunition, ammunition for grenade launchers, ammunition for medium-caliber
guns, mortar ammunition, artillery ammunition, tank ammunition, guided missiles),
guided ammunition for fire-support systems (both artillery and rocket systems) and
tank guns, guided missiles, explosives (gun powders, propellants, explosives, and
pyrotechnics), electronic reconnaissance and surveillance systems, C4I systems, optoelectronic
equipment, telecommunications and radio equipment, computer-aided radars, engineering
equipment, quartermaster equipment, protective equipment, NBC equipment, military
logistics, anti-terrorist equipment, aircraft (airplanes, helicopters, and unmanned
aerial vehicles), airborne equipment and weapon systems, airborne ammunition (guided
and unguided missiles, guided and unguided bombs), ships, naval equipment and combat
systems, training equipment and simulators, overhaul of munitions for land forces,
ammunition overhaul, overhaul of air force and air defense systems, overhaul of naval
munitions, modification programs, modernization and conversion of munitions for land
forces, air force and air defense, and navy, transfer of defense-related technologies,
defense infrastructure, joint development of weapons and defense equipment, testing
of weapons and defense equipment as well as of attachments, components, and spare
parts.
At ”Partner 2009”, we expect the participation of institutes, overhaul and maintenance
depots, educational, healthcare, and other institutions related to the Ministry of
Defense, Yugoimport SDPR, as the integrator of the Serbian defense industry, with
its partners, other domestic manufacturers of weapons and defense equipment, trading
companies active in the field of munitions as well as the most important foreign
partners of the domestic manufacturers and suppliers of the Serbian Armed Forces
and those who want to ensure a place for their products as the weapons and defense
equipment of the Serbian Armed Forces in the future.
The Fair ”Partner 2009” will be held in the hall 3 and on the open grounds of the
Belgrade Fair, on an area of 4,500 m2.
The opening hours of the Fair of Armaments and Defense Equipment:
- June 2, 3, and 4: from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – only for business visitors, with mandatory
registration
- June 5: from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. – for general public.
