Under the auspices of the
Day of SDPR on Partner 2009

Within the International Fair of Armaments and Defense Equipment PARTNER 2009, at the stand of Yugoimport FDSP Company, the 60th anniversary of the Company’s existence was observed. On that occasion, the General Director Stevan Nikčević stated:

- In accordance with our business policy, which was, in the course of the last couple of years, oriented besides to marketing, market research and sales of our armaments and defense equipment abroad, towards significant investments into research and development, hence the production, too, of complex combat systems, Yugoimport completed its mission of the domestic defense industry integrator.

Our special pleasure is that, this year, at the Fair, we will be able to present some independent development projects of our Company, which we are especially proud of.
At the first place, it is the multi-purpose combat vehicle Lazar, and the combat reconnaissance vehicle Kurjak, with modifications. On the plateau in front of the hall 3, there is the self-propelled howitzer Nora B52 155mm displayed. There are also helicopter-mounted weapon systems, artillery fire control system, laser rangefinder, integrated system of equipment and armaments of the 21st century soldier, and numerous other systems.

Sixty years of existence is an important event in history of every company and, in Yugoimport FDSP, this jubilee will be associated with the most successful business year in the recent history of our country.
The indicators for this year are also very encouraging, and they show that our exports were worth around US$ 110 million during the first five months, which placed us among the top exporters in Serbia. This, of course, encourages us, and we will show the results at the end of the year with pleasure, and will celebrate together an exceptionally successful 2009, in a similar manner as in the previous 2008.

The current development projects of the Yugoimport FDSP were presented by the Assistant General Director, Dr Nenad Miloradović.
